Tom and I played disc golf in Novato. The course was grueling and difficult, with its easy-to-underestimate hills, annoying weeds, and long holes. What's worse, temperatures were in the 90s and it was more humid than should be allowed in California. (Weather must have been brought to us from Boston by Tom and Amy!)
Needless to say, we had a wonderful time playing disc golf. There's not much I'd rather do, anywhere, any time. This was the first course we played today. Later, we played on courses in Berkeley and Moraga.
The guy behind Tom is another spouse of a librarian. He was visiting San Francisco from Michigan. We met him at the 2nd hole.
