On my parents side, I have one nephew and one neice. Buddy and Maggie are growing fast and I don't see them very often. The great thing about relatives, though, is the bond one seems to have, no matter how long it's been. I've noticed this with my own kids, when we go visit family members whom we haven't seen in ages. They seem to hit it off right away. When I see Buddy and Maggie in Maine or Minnesota, it's as if I'd seen them every day. Sure, we have a little catching up to do, but the bond is still there.
