Here's a photo that Scotty took at the band tournament we attended on Saturday night at Poway High School. This is the Mount Carmel HS marching band (Matt's band) performing their field show. Rumor has it that this is the 3rd rated high school marching band in the country. I don't know how such ratings are determined, but it sounds pretty impressive. The guy on the ladder in the black tuxedo is the conductor.

Matt is way in the back of the photo. Doctor's orders are that he can't actually march this year. He does, however, walk out with the band as they are taking the field. Then he stands at the 50-yard line with a few other injured students and plays the music as the rest of the band plays and marches.
