Prado Olympic Shooting Park18 October 2001

Today I visited the Prado Olympic Shooting Park, where the shooting events were held for the 1984 Summer Olympic Games. This is an underground bunker containing about 12 devices that launch clay targets out onto a skeet shooting range. The launchers are voice-activated. The orange things are the targets; they're like little frisbees that fly across the target area. The park is set up with these launchers all over the place, at various levels, so the targets can come from just about anywhere: from behind, coming toward you, diagonal, from 30-feet high, from under ground, etc. Looks like fun.
