Here are a couple of different views of a sculpture on top of a bridge crossing Nash Street and El Segundo Blvd in El Segundo, near the Los Angeles Airport (LAX). It's a large metal-mesh hand holding a metal "paper" airplane.

I've been driving by this thing, wondering who put it there, and why we don't see more sculptures like this in Southern California.
