We drove up to Arcadia for the last marching band tournament of the year last night. This is the awards ceremony, where the leaders of each band line up in their fancy uniforms and capes to receive their trophies. Matt's band leaders are the ones in red and white left of center in the semicircle. The field show competition was held at Citrus College stadium. Arcadia is in the foothills on the eastern end of Los Angeles County, a few minutes east of Pasadena. It's about a 2-hour drive.
