Well, this was the day of the long-awaited concert of the 7th and 8th grade bands at Mesa Verde. We watched four bands perform today. Scott is one of only five 7th graders in the wind ensemble, which is the top band in the school. They played a nice set of Christmas and other tunes.

The unique thing about this concert was that they videotaped the whole thing and broadcast it live on the Internet. Tom and Amy watched it from Belmont!

Tomorrow, Scott and Matt will be auditioning for the Southern California Middle School Honor Band. They're both good enough to make it, so let's hope the judges notice their talents. Wish them luck!
