Jazzie has become much more friendly this year. It seems the Bayley, our dog, has made Jazzie more sociable. On Jazzie's first day with us, back in September 2000, she crawled under the dishwasher and stayed there for hours. We had to pull the built-in dishwasher out from under the kitchen counter to get her out. Every time some walked near her, she would run away and hide somewhere.

Now Jazzie comes up to us and purrs, even when she's not hungry! She walks up to Bayley and rubs her body against her. When we put Bayley outside, Jazzie runs up to the window to see what she's doing out there. Then when Bayley comes back in, Jazzie walks over and greets her.
