Three of the four trombonists in the all-county honor band this year were from Mesa Verde Middle School. Here they are with the conductor, Matt Garbutt, who also conducts the San Diego Wind Ensemble. Scott was one of the few 7th graders in the band, which played their concert today at Hillsdale Middle School in El Cajon.
