If I recall correctly, this was Matt's Lake Miwok village project in 3rd grade. This was back when we had a dining room table. Since then, the dining room has been converted to a computer/piano room. Matt's native Californian village project was one of the more complex things I remember the kids building. Thanks to Susan's creativity and resourcefulness, and the supplies from nearby Michaels and Home Depot, our kids often have the most impressive projects in the class.
