Matt and I went to the Band Banquet tonight. We never did this sort of thing in my high school, but the MCHS band is rather special, I think. They had a huge banquet in the Town and Country Convention Center, one of the biggest ballroom facilities in the city. The kids all dressed up for dinner, awards, farewell to seniors, slide shows, videos, and a dance. We stayed til 1:00, I think. Matt is sitting with a bunch of kids from the orchestra. He's the one right behind the flowers.
