Some of the equipment that students need for each lab is in their "lab drawers," which they can access throughout the semester. Other equipment and chemical supplies are more experiment-specific, so they must come up front and get it, then return it at the end of the day. This is the stuff for Experiment #602, in which they must determine the density of various small objects, like a rubber stopper, a sample of rubbing alcohol, and an metal of unknown identity.
