Today was Bayley's first day on the beach. I was sitting in my car grading quizzes near the beach waiting for the northbound traffic to clear up. Susan and the kids decided to come over to walk on the beach with Bayley and eat at one of our favorite restaurants, the Roberto's on Penasquitos Lagoon. We soon found out that no dogs are allowed on Torrey Pines beach, so we went a bit north to a beach near the Del Mar Fairgrounds that allows dogs. Bayley made lots of new canine friends, some leashed and some not. Scott got soaked, as he ran with her through the waves.
