We drove down Route 1 to York Beach this evening to see The New New Orleans Jazz Band perform at the pavilion in Ellis Park. Shirley sat with us right up front. We brought pizza and fried clams for a picnic dinner on our beach blankets. The band, consisting of Hal on clarinet, plus six other musicians on trombone, trumpet, piano, tuba, banjo, and drums, played for two hours into the evening.
