This is probably not how our home's designers had planned things back in the mid-1980s when they won an architectural award for our model. This is the former dining room, where we ate many memorable special meals (mostly on holidays), and a few regular meals. The room, which now has a five and a half foot wall and houses our computers and piano, is still the site of many a meal, but they aren't quite as special anymore, and sometimes they get our keyboards a bit messy. I must say that the room gets used a lot more than when it was our "dining room." It's still one of the brightest rooms in the house.
