We used some dry ice in lab tonight, so I brought home the extra for Scott's enjoyment. We had fun watching it bubble and smoke in water and soapy water. Then we put a few pieces in the sink and watched the carbon dioxide accumulate. We knew it was carbon dioxide because it extinguished a lit match that we lowered into it.
