Jazzy and Snickers - September 2000, a few days after we adopted them from the San Diego Humane Society. These cats really turned out to be good ones. They're affectionate, interesting, fun, and the like being near us. I thought Kelly, our cat until a few years ago, was unique, but now I'm thinking that any cat growing up in our house would be a good one. Jazzy, the tabby on the left, was shy and suspicious of everyone when she arrived. Now she comes when we call and makes a point to be in the room with one of us whenever we're home.
