Gramma always loved a good conversation, even as her memory was succombing to Alzheimer's, which frustrated her terribly. She always seemed to look at the bright side of things and shrugged off adversity or conflict in a way I've never been able to master.

It's difficult to know when your last conversation will be with a person; the best we can do is enjoy each other while the opportunity exists.
