Scott took a before/after sequence of his room, showing it messy, then neat. We like to think that of the two states, the neat one is the "ground state," which, in chemical terms, means the resting state or the state of lower energy. Unfortunately, as often happens in a teenager's room, the tendency toward entropy is dominant. Hold your cursor over the photo. You decide which is the natural state.
