My week has been interesting. First, it's been crazy at work, where I've been scrambling to meet deadlines, chip away at old projects long neglected, and trying to start new projects running. What projects? A beach pollution project where we're looking at bacterial levels near the stormwater drains; a construction project at an Air Force base in South Carolina; a military range project in New Mexico; another New Mexico project, this one involving improvements to a research observatory; a project to update hazardous waste plans for another Air Force base; and next week, maybe, attending an EPA conference in Washington, DC.
