Every year around this time, the PGA holds its "Buick Invitational" golf tournament at Torrey Pines. This gave me a good excuse to do a little running at the State Park. I took my usual route, up north to the golf course, past the 16th fairway of the North Course, and brought my Kodak DC 3200 camera along, just in case I saw any golfers. This is either Austin, Green, or Clark, I didn't stay long enough to figure that out.. Playing ahead of them were Sabatini, Zokol, and Perry. I saw them chipping and putting at the green a few minutes earlier. That's the extent of my free view of the PGA tour today. 'Twas a bit more excitement during my run in the park than usual.
