Scott and I ran in the Carlsbad 5000 on Sunday morning. Here we are waiting for the "Men's Over 40" race to begin. Scott wanted to run in his own race, "Men's Under 29," but I refused to wait around Carlsbad all morning. He proceeded to beat me by five or six minutes.

We're standing in front of a "photographer's home office. Scott suggests that Tom look into getting a house and yard like this. I think it might be a bit small.

By the way, I wore my 100th Boston Marathon jacket that Sue gave me in 1996. It was not too hard to convince those who came up to me and said they ran it that I did not.
