Aunt Dorothy16 April 2003

Dorothy's visit was all too short. We like entertaining our relatives from the East. Usually we get to go to the touristy places in San Diego that we rarely visit otherwise. Dorothy, on the other hand, likes to experience the things we do every day. We took her to the "divy" Mexican restaurant in Poway that we like so much earlier in the week. On Saturday night, her last full day in San Diego, we visited Roberto's ("Very Mexican Food" it says on the sign) and walked around the trails at Torrey Pines. We had planned to bring our dinner to the beach, but it was a bit too windy, so we dined at their outdoor tables overlooking Penasquitos Lagoon. A lovlier setting is hard to find.
