Nice view of the northbound Surfliner rolling through Penasquitos Lagoon. Roberto's, a one-story yellow building near the marsh, is visible near the left side, about 70% up from the bottom of the photo. Hold your mouse over the photo for a rollover image showing the train's position a few seconds later.

Reservations are in place for my Maine trip this summer, but I won't be taking this mode of transportation. I just put this in for Dad and other train enthusiasts who view this site. My voyage will be on Southwest Airlines, direct from San Diego to Manchester.
