We celebrated late last night, after my lab. Susan and the kids got me some good birthday loot, including a firewire card for my computer, a few Starbucks gift certificates, and a couple of DVD's (Simpson's first year and "Blast from the Past"). My coworkers gave me a nice card and the traditional cake ceremony. My students didn't know it was my birthday; I thought that was best for everyone involved. Overall, despite all the work, it was a very nice day.
