Today's quiz went quite well. Thirty of the 35 students who took the quiz earned a score of 120 or better, which is 80% of the 150 available points. The challenge of teaching is to keep the high performers interested while reaching out for those who aren't doing so well. In this case, the latter population is relatively small and easy to identify. I've offered to help them focus their studying efforts; we'll see how many choose to take me up on the offer.
