Susan is a "uniform mom" this year for the marching band, which played their first field show tonight at the football game. Her job is to take care of the hats ("shakos"), plumes, and shoes, as well as the black pants and white jackets, according to strict rules and protocols. It's quite a production involving many parents and the cooperation of each student.
