Here are a couple of photos of the scorched earth near Highway 15, just south of Scripps Ranch and east of Miramar Marine Corps Air Station. The white building in the background of the rollover image is where Scott plays basketball. The bushes and trees nearby burned, but the field house didn't. Other buildings, including many homes, in Scripps Ranch, were not so fortunate.
