The UCLA marching band gave us two field shows after all the high school bands finished with their competition. Their riverboat was spectacular as they entered the stadium playing Old Man River. It wasn't, however, the highlight of their shows, as their sound and visuals left everyone in awe. The best part for me was watching the kids' reaction to their second show, the traditional UCLA half-time show. The college band played it toward the kids, who were sitting on the other side, and we could tell the kids loved everything about it.
