This is the colorguard for Riverside Community College marching band, which played after the competition (high school) bands in the Southern California band tournament tonight at nearby Westview High School. For some technical reasons, related to not enough tournaments, related to cancellations due to fire, our band didn't perform in this tournament, but Matt and I went anyway, to enjoy the show. In fact, Matt was seeing the opposing bands' shows for the first time this year. Anyway, I brought my tripod, but didn't take it out of the bag. Thus, many of the photographs looked like this one, which I have named "colorguard impressions."
