What was supposed to be a 20-minute layover in Denver turned into 2-3 hours, after my plane from San Diego arrived late. Didn't connecting flights used to wait for passengers, just for a few minutes at least? I ran 3/4 of a mile thru DIA only to find that the plane pulled out of the gate on time and I'd be waiting a while... and missing my 3:00 pm meeting in Kansas. So, here's a nice photo from the Denver International Airport's Terminal B.

After getting up at 3:15 am, I finally arrived in Topeka in the early evening around 5:30 pm. Two things I'm thankful for: my ability to sleep on airplanes and my ability to enjoy even the longest travel days.
