tidepools23 December 2003

This rather gloomy photo shows how low the tide was today. In nearly 20 years, I've never seen the beach between the shore and the rock to the left. Usually, seals are swimming around in the water and hopping up onto the rock. Today, we could see the rarely exposed tidepools south of Boomer Beach. The seals were still there. I wonder if they took note of the unusual situation.
