This rather gloomy photo shows how low the tide was today.
In nearly 20 years, I've never seen the beach between the shore and the
rock to the left. Usually, seals are swimming around in the water and
hopping up onto the rock. Today, we could see the rarely exposed tidepools
south of Boomer Beach. The seals were still there. I wonder if they took
note of the unusual situation.
