For some reason, our list of places to go today included a greenhouse. We had other places too, with more potential for environmental concerns, like a pesticide mixing facility, a couple of maintenance shops, and a golf course (more pesticides, etc), but the greenhouse was a rather unusual assignment. We looked around a bit, didn't find any problems, and learned some things about the plants in Central Arkansas. Most everything in here is dormant at this time of year; the staff is studying some of the growth patterns of native plants. Therefore, the "greenhouse" doesn't look very green.
