I went to the opthamologist today for an exam. A few months ago, I bought some reading glasses (+1.25) at the drug store to help me read in low, indoor light conditions. The doc confirmed that I have presbyopia and better than 20/10 vision at a distance. He confirmed that it was normal to notice the reading problems rather suddenly, which was comforting, but said that it only gets worse as time goes on, which wasn't.
