After 20 years in San Diego, we finally made it to Quail Botannical Gardens. Unfortunately, Mom's knee was acting up, so we got her a wheelchair and pushed her around most of the time. The flowers and birds here are quite spectacular. My favorites, perhaps, were the cork trees (not pictured here). We also saw a couple of woodpeckers and some hummingbirds.
