2 July
2004
Another scene from Wednesday night's lab.
It's been a nice day. I left a little early from work
then went running a longer route over at Torrey Pines. Since Mondays thru
Thursdays are booked with work and school until late in the evening, I
don't have much time for myself during those days. Today was a gorgeous
day at Torrey Pines, with 20 or 30 hang gliders soaring above, and a nice
blue ocean, for a change. June is usually foggy, hazy, and/or cloudy.
July, for some reason is always much nicer: sunny and warmer. I was planning
on a shorter run, but once I got nearer to the ocean, I decided to run
down the cliffs again and back up again, for a little over 4 miles. It
was well worth it. I don't know if it's doing me much good, since I run
so slowly, but the scenery is wonderful. One of these days, I'll get Matt
and Scott to run with me.
