Got up at 4 this morning so I could beat the traffic up to LA. Arrived more than an hour and a half before my meeting, but that's okay because I prefer a relaxing morning at tables outside Noah's Bagels to a stress-filled stop and go experience along I-405 at the last minute. I was able to do some grading and prepare for tonight's lab class prior to our project kick-off meeting at 8:30. We had a good day at the Air Force base, collecting lots of data, etc. Had a nice lunch at the Big Wok restaurant, an all-you-can-eat serve Mongolian barbecue restaurant (I loaded up on the curry sauce.) and stopped to get this nice Mirror Project photo after lunch. The 1.5-hour drive up was much better than the drive back to San Diego, which took 3.5 hours and got me to school five minutes before my lab started at 6 pm. Yes, I am tired...
