The Pier Run went very well for everybody this year. Most of us improved our times compared to last year, and there was this: a photo finish between Scott and his uncle, Tom, at 16:39. Since I came in five minutes later, I didn't see this happening, but fortunately, Mom got the perfect photograph of the finish, with both running full bore during the last couple of hundred yards, through the line into Pier Run history.
