19 September 2004Since my visit to Louisiana last week was cut short by Ivan, I thought I'd dig up a photo from my first visit to the bayou state, nearly 13 years ago. Here I am, looking a bit younger, and ready to devour a soft-shell, deep-fried blue crab from the bottom of Lake Ponchatrain. Yummy. This lunch, as I recall, gave me enough food for this meal, and for breakfast and lunch on the following day. I wonder if I still have that shirt.... DWL |
