Steve and I went to see The Al Franken Show at UCSD this morning. Here he is, doing a radio skit with Meg Ryan, who appeared during two of the three hours in the show. Other guests, included Congressman Bob Filner, and Francine Busby, who is running to replace my district's Congressman, Randy Cunningham, one of the least appealing politiicans to anyone who values social progress, the environment, or education. Another guest was a serviceman who lost his hand in action in Iraq. Franken will be on the Tonight Show this evening, and has to tape the show before the Presidential Debate and talk about it as if he's already seen it, as it will be televised afterwards. He was joking that he'd be talking about his favorite one-liners from each candidate.
