The pepper tree in our back yard is full of red and pink peppercorns this fall, providing a little extra color for our southern view. We really haven't taken care of our trees very well over the years, not up to arborist standards, but I'm glad we have them. In fact, we have more trees in our yard than most people in our neighborhood have. Their sprawling branches have blocked some of our views, but have created a cozy atmosphere in front and in back of our little house.
