We all went for a bike ride to the beach today. Here we are under the bridge in Del Mar. (I tried taking some with the ocean in the background, but the Olympus camera battery kept slipping out after I took this one, so I was unable to complete the shot. It's about time to retire that camera.)

The ride is 25-miles, round-trip, with a 600-foot elevation difference between out house and sea level. We had a nice lunch at Roberto's in Del Mar before heading back home. Susan and I watched the "Return of the King" DVD. Actually, I have to admit that I only watched parts of it, for the second time in a row. The first time we saw this movie, in the theater, was the midnight show on opening day. I don't think I've seen all of it yet.
