Took a nice walk today to and from the beach, about three and a half hours, including some time sitting at a picnic table on the beach doing homework for my training class, which begins tomorrow. These are some black skimmers, a bird species that I haven't seen lately. It's another cloudy day here in Florida. Also saw several royal terns, Franklin's gulls, brown pelicans, and a woodpecker (maybe it was a red-cockaded woodpecker, I'm not quite sure). Other photos of birds are posted here.
