We had a nice mid-afternoon dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Mission Valley this afternoon. Nobody actually got cheesecake there, but the food was pretty good. I had some rather mediocre crab cakes. After crab cakes in Camden Yards, Baltimore, I'll probably never enjoy another one quite as much. After dinner, we stopped at the animal shelter (Thoughts of adding a young cat or dog to our family are floating around.) but it was mostly closed, so we didn't see anyone we wanted to take home in the small area that was open to the public today.

On our way home, we decided to swing by the beach to take a fwe photos of each other. Most of the pictures came out pretty bad, lacking a fill-in flash, but I really like this one, and a few others.
