Happy Birthday Mom and Aunt Shirley!

This duck walked right right up to my table at the Tin Fish restaurant downtown near the stadium today. See the rollover for the big attraction (for me and the duck). Perhaps the best, and certainly the most generous portion of fish and chips I've ever had.

It was a very polite duck, just staring at me for a while and groaning now and then. It quietly walked away when it realized I wasn't going to give it any food, and sauntered over to another table making some dull half-quack, half-groan sounds. The other people fed it a bit.

I'm on my fifth day of jury duty today. Turns out we deliberated all afternoon and never got to a verdict. We return to the deliberation room on Monday. Maybe I'll go rent the movie "Twelve Angry Men" this weekend.
