I really doubt that these kids got much sleep all weekend. Friday night, around 1:30, when all of us parents were heading off to our dormitory beds, these SPOP staffers were just starting the rehearsal for their talent show, which they gave us on Saturday night. On Saturday night, I was one of the last parents to leave the lounge after a night of dancing, midnight pizza, and toga raids into the kids rooms (with the express intent to embarrass them). The staffers were still awake and talking, and reportedly crashed in the lounge on couches and mattresses. It was a nice weekend briefly reliving the college days and learning all about Matt's new home. These staffers made it memorable and fun, and gave me confidence that Matt will fit right in and be quite happy here.
