I went down to the Museum of San Diego History museum to see some "then and now" photographs currently on exhibit. The photos were nice, but this collection on the narrative songs from the US-Mexico border was even more interesting. Corridos sin Fronteras is a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian. After 20 years in San Diego, it was my first visit to this museum.
