Susan, Scott, and I went over to the Borders bookstore at around 10 pm this evening to be there for the opening of the new Harry Potter book. The place was packed. We saw probably 30-40 people whom we knew, and had a great time. The books were distributed in order according to a ticket that we had to pick up once we got there. We were #527, so we had to wait a while, nearly two hours, after the initial books were sold at midnight, the first minute of July 16th. Susan bought two copies, so she and Matt would not need to wait for each other to read the book. She finished in less than a day.
