Here I am in the lab at Miramar, sitting behind my computer and snapping this rather lousy photograph with my Kodak mc3 camera. I think I really need a better pocket camera. Probably anything on the market today, including phone cameras, are better quality. For now, this will have to do.

Today Scott and I played Ultimate Frisbee on the beach just north of the Scripps Pier. I was playing there quite regularly in the few years before he was born, but haven't played much since then. It was great playing with some of the same people who were regulars back in the day, and even better watching Scott play right along with us, making excellent throws and pretty good catches as well. I hope we can play a few more times this summer. Scott doesn't know the game very well yet, but will be quite dangerous once he figures it out.
