This was a pleasant surprise! Matt came home for a weekend visit.

Last night, Susan was sitting around saying how bored she was, when Matt called saying that most of his friends were going home, so he thought he might want to come here to see Scott's band tournament tomorrow. She and Scott went up to get him right away, and picked up his friend Ronald at Cal Poly Pomona as well. Matt and Ron went to UCSD to get Tsukasa and all three of them joined us in the stands tonight for the Poway Preview marching band tournament. It was great having Matt visit for a day. I drove him back up to UCI early on Sunday, so he could spend the rest of the day reading King Lear for his humanities class.
